Mário Rodrigues holds a degree in Information and Communication Technology in Department of Communication and the Arts from the University of Aveiro, a master’s degree in Audiovisual Communication in Department of Image Arts (DAI) at School of Music, Arts and Performing Arts (ESMAE), Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP), and he is also PhD student in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms from University of Porto in partnership with the University of Aveiro. Mário Rodrigues is a Technical Supervisor of Human Movement Laboratory in School of Health Sciences in University of Aveiro. His main research and development activities focus in the audiovisual communication and motion capture technologies. The areas of interest are: live recording motion event, modelling, simulation, analysis, and visualization of natural and behaviour with interactive technology, biomechanics of movement, using VICON motion capture systems and AMTI forces platforms and EMG (Electromyography).
